The Barrel Room

This unique project displays two very distinct styles – The Barrel Room, a contemporary fine wine bistro and Mason Ale Works, a rustic craft beer tasting room in Carmel Valley, San Diego. The Barrel Room features fine dining in an indoor/outdoor setting with illuminated display bar, floor-to-ceiling wine displays, private dining room with back-lit barrel stave wall treatments and patio with fire tables. Mason Ale Works features raw steel cladding, exposed brick veneer, custom lighting fixtures, full kitchen with charcuterie, outdoor patio, and full bar with craft beer taps. This is Richard & Richard’s 2nd Design-Build Project for 3 Local Brothers following on success of the Urge Common House/Mason Ale Works in San Marcos.
